Hello! I’m Elaine

Cheery Dog Training

My dogs have been Border Collies, Heelers and Kelpies. I trained them in Obedience and on weekends they would help bring in with the dairy cows. I worked many years at the Animal Welfare League shelter. My dogs Sophie and Spot helped train many staff, volunteers and clients in dog behaviour and training. I now am a professional dog trainer at Cheery Dog Training, focusing on reducing the impact of rehoming on dogs, reactivity, and overstimulated behaviour.

I want to help before the dogs ended up lost or surrendered. I am so happy to be able to help others with their dogs have the same advantage.

I love the relationship I have now with my dogs and wish I had known more with my previous ones.
